Seminar 1: Getting started with legacy fundraising
In this session, we’ll explore how to get started in legacy fundraising. We’ll look at the core elements of building a strategy – who to talk to, and what to say – before thinking about some of the very practical ways you can begin communicating about gifts in wills to your audiences. Attendees will leave with a greater understanding of who leaves gifts in wills, what makes a good gifts in wills proposition and when, where and how they can promote the gifts in wills message.
Seminar 2: Navigating what’s next: taking the next step in your gifts in wills journey
This session is designed for people who’ve taken their first steps in gifts in wills fundraising. They may have defined their message, included it in key communications and perhaps run a few campaigns already. We’ll focus on how to move your gifts in wills programme forward, covering topics such as supporting donors through their decision making, ensuring that your stewardship is compelling and embedding the gifts in wills message within your organisation. Attendees will leave with a range of ideas about how they could develop their programme, taking it to the next level.
